Selected for the Biennale College Cinema - Virtual Reality!

We’ve been selected with How is the water as one of the 12 international VR projects for the Biennale College Cinema VR!

We are incredibly happy and thankful for being selected by the oldest and one of the most important film festivals in the world. We are deeply honored by this opportunity!

During the 1st workshop of the Biennale College Cinema VR from 10th – 16th of January, we spent our days and nights in Venice working on further development of our interactive VR experience How is the water with many international experts, creative technologists and story developers. This workshop was organized by La Biennale di Venezia on San Servolo Island and packed with very productive, often challenging, but always amazingly helpful tutor sessions, meetings, trainings and wonderful people.

We are all together on the same track of exploring the endless possibilities of VR technology. Even though all the 12 selected projects of the Biennale College Cinema VR are officially in a competition against each other, we all grew together as one family of VR explorers. The spirit of being strong together, inspiring and helping each other, in order to create beautiful, unique and impactful VR experiences, was prevailing our whole stay in Venice!

Thanks to all these great personalities, we had a very intense time that did not only advance our project development, but also our personal development. While meeting people from all over the world, we had the great opportunity to get an insight in many different ideas, attitudes and experiences.

Now we are working hard on the second intense phase of further developing How is the water to make our dream project happen!

“The point of the fish story is merely that the most obvious, important realities are often the ones that are hardest to see and talk about… The fact is that in the day to day trenches of adult existence, banal platitudes can have a life or death importance.”

David Foster Wallace

How is the water stresses the destructive anthropogenic impacts on the oceans and the marine live. We put you into the skin of a dolphin and let you experience through the eyes of a marine animal how it feels to encounter human introduced threats like garbage patches and overfishing, and also show you the beauty of the marine environment and its worthiness to be protected.

Join us and be with us on our journey of creating this experience from the very beginning!

It's amazing how fast Cyan planet grows! I really admire your work and I'm looking forward to the next steps. To raise the awareness of the maritime living environment can help to get down to the root of the problem, I think. So keep it up - and show a prewiev, pleeease!

Best wishes
